U9B Team Update: Budget and Upcoming Fundraisers

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out to share a few team updates.

Budget update

We've emailed you our latest team budget. To date, we have collected $36,798.45 and spent $17,328.82, leaving a current balance of $19,469.63.

Please keep in mind that several significant season expenses—including ice and referee costs—have not yet been paid. Based on our current projections, we remain on track to finish the season with a planned surplus of approximately $1,500; however, achieving this will depend heavily on the success of our fundraising efforts.

We’ll continue to keep everyone updated as additional payments, fundraising proceeds and invoices are received. Thank you to all our families and sponsors for your continued support!

Fundraising update

MacGregor’s Meat & Seafood

A big thank-you to the O’Reilly family for leading this fundraiser! All orders must be submitted by 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22, with delivery scheduled for October 1. This is one of our major fundraising initiatives for the season, so we appreciate everyone’s participation and support.

Virtual 50/50 draw

We’ll soon be launching an online 50/50 draw and asking each player to help sell tickets in support of the team. Thanksgiving will be a great opportunity to share the fundraiser with friends and family. More details will follow shortly!

Farmers’ Market – Saturday, October 3

We’re planning to host a team tent at the Farmers’ Market on Saturday, October 3. Please visit Ramp and let us know if your family can participate. We need support from at least seven families to move forward; otherwise, we’ll unfortunately need to cancel the event.

At the market, we’ll be raffling off autographed sports memorabilia and promoting an online raffle. Families will also be able to sell raffle tickets to friends and family.

If you have an item you would be willing to donate to the raffle—or another creative idea for how we could use our space—please let Anna or Steph know.
